The Worksheet States preference is used to record a list of states for a worksheet. These are used within the Worksheet Statuses preference, as well as when viewing a worksheet. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.


The table of Worksheet States will display the code, name, and status for the state.
When adding or editing a state, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a state.

A unique code for the state. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.
A name for the state. It is advisable to keep this unique.
A checkbox to activate/deactivate an entry. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop-down lists.
