Test Order Statuses

The Test Order Statuses preference is used to record a list of test order statuses in the system. These are set by barcode scanning, or otherwise use the default statuses within iGene.

Location

The table of Test Order Statuses will display the code, name, and status for the test order status.

Configuration

When adding or editing a test order status, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a test order status.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the test order status. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Name (Required)

A name for the test order status. It is advisable to keep this unique.

Color to Highlight

A dropdown list to select a color to highlight the test order status.

Custom Color to Highlight

A free text field to enter a custom color to highlight the test order status. If a color is picked in the dropdown list, this field will be automatically filled in.

Color of Text

A dropdown list to select a color for the text of the test order status.

Custom Color of Text

A free text field to enter a custom color for the text of the test order status. If a color is picked in the dropdown list, this field will be automatically filled in.
