The Suffixes preference is a list of non-professional suffixes that can then be added to the Staff or the Users screens within the Admin section of iGene.
In this example the Suffix dropdown is present on the Staff details screen where it adds further personal information.


The table for the Suffixes will display the code, name and the status.
When adding or editing a Suffix, the following form opens to complete.
Always press Save in the bottom right hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a Suffix.

A unique code for the Suffix. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.
A name for the preference. It is advisable to keep this unique.
A checkbox to activate / deactivate an entry. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop down lists.
