Referral Statuses

The Referral Statuses preference is used to record a list of referral statuses in the system. These are found when adding a new lab or clinic referral. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.

Location

The table of Referral Statuses will display the code, name, and status for the referral status.

Configuration

When adding or editing a referral status, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a referral status.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the referral status. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Name (Required)

A name for the referral status. It is advisable to keep this unique.

Colour to highlight

A colour to highlight the referral status in the system. This will be displayed in the referral list and referral details.

Custom Colour to highlight

A custom colour to highlight the referral status in the system. This will be displayed in the referral list and referral details.

Colour of text

A colour of text to highlight the referral status in the system. This will be displayed in the referral list and referral details.

Custom Colour of text

A custom colour of text to highlight the referral status in the system. This will be displayed in the referral list and referral details.

TAT Reportable

A checkbox to indicate if the referral status is reportable in the TAT report. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop-down lists.

Not Closable

A checkbox to indicate if the referral status is not closable. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop-down lists.

Close Referral

A checkbox to indicate if the referral status causes the referral to be closed.
