The Manufactured Items preference is used to record a list of manufactured items in the system. These are found when adding a manufactured item in the Quality Management area of the app. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.


The table of Manufactured Items will display the code, name, product, and status for the manufactured item.
When adding or editing a manufactured item, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a manufactured item.

A unique code for the manufactured item. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.
A name for the manufactured item. It is advisable to keep this unique.
The product that is produced by the manufactured item.
The quantity of the output product that is produced by the manufactured item.
The unit type of the output product that is produced by the manufactured item.
A checkbox to activate/deactivate an entry. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop-down lists.
A description of the manufactured item. This is optional but can be useful for providing additional information about the item.
This table displays the input items that are required to produce the manufactured item.
The stock item that is required to produce the manufactured item.
The quantity of the stock item that is required to produce the manufactured item.
The unit type of the stock item that is required to produce the manufactured item.
