Fish Result Codes

The Fish Result Codes preference is used to record a list of fish result codes in the system. These are found at the bottom of the results page for a FISH test if probes were used. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.

The results field is hidden in the default build so can not be seen in the screenshot below, but it would appear at the very bottom of this section if enabled.

The table of Fish Result Codes will display the code and name for the fish result code.

Configuration

When adding or editing a fish result code, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a fish result code.

Edit Fish Result Code

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the fish result code. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Name (Required)

A name for the fish result code. It is advisable to keep this unique.

ISCN

A free text field to record the ISCN code for the fish result code.

Diagnosis

A dropdown list to select the diagnosis for the fish result code.

Failure Reason

A free text field to record the failure reason for the fish result code.

Failed

A checkbox to mark the fish result code as failed, which will then activate the failure reason.

Has Overrides

A checkbox to mark the fish result code as having overrides.

Invert Normal Overrides

A checkbox to invert the normal overrides.

Summary

A free text field to record a summary for the fish result code.

FISH Probes

A table to record the FISH probes for the fish result code.

Probe Name

A dropdown list to select the probe name.

Standard Interpretation Content

A free text field to record the standard interpretation content for the probe.
