Electrophoresis Methods

The Electrophoresis Method preference is used to record a list of electrophoresis methods in the system. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.

Location

The table of Electrophoresis Methods will display the code, name, and status for the electrophoresis method.

Configuration

When adding or editing an electrophoresis method, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing an electrophoresis method.

Name (Required)

A name for the electrophoresis method. It is advisable to keep this unique.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the electrophoresis method. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Gel Type

A dropdown list of gel types.

Default Duration

A time field to enter the default duration of the electrophoresis method.

Voltage

A text field to enter the voltage of the electrophoresis method.

Equipment

A dropdown list of equipment.

Protocol

A text field to enter the protocol of the electrophoresis method.

Kits

A table to add kits to the electrophoresis method.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the kit. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Name (Required)

A name for the kit. It is advisable to keep this unique.
