The Diagnoses preference is used to record a list of diagnoses in the system. These are found when adding a diagnosis to a patient. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.


The table of Diagnoses will display the code, name, source, and status for the diagnosis.
When adding or editing a diagnosis, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a diagnosis.

A unique code for the diagnosis. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.
A name for the diagnosis. It is advisable to keep this unique.
A dropdown list of diagnoses. This is used to link a diagnosis to another diagnosis.
A checkbox to indicate if the diagnosis is a cancer diagnosis.
A checkbox to indicate if the diagnosis is a Boadecia diagnosis.
A free text field to record the location of the diagnosis.
A free text field to record the ICD 9 code of the diagnosis.
A free text field to record the ICD 10 code of the diagnosis.
A free text field to record the MCKusick code of the diagnosis.
A dropdown list of histologies.
A free text field to record the title of the book or article.
A free text field to record the author of the book or article.
A free text field to record the volume of the book or article.
A free text field to record the year of the book or article.
A free text field to record the pages of the book or article.

A free text field to record the URL of the article.
The code of the diagnosis marked as a synonym.
The name of the diagnosis marked as a synonym.
The source of the diagnosis marked as a synonym.
A free text field to record the interpretation of the diagnosis.
A free text field to record the summary of the diagnosis.

A free text field to record the report of the diagnosis.
A free text field to record the abstract of the diagnosis.
A free text field to record the name of the gene.
A free text field to record the name of the protein.
The name of the feature.
The source of the feature.
