Dashboard

The Dashboard preference is used to customise the dashboard. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.

Location

The table of Dashboards will display the code, name, and status for the dashboard.

Configuration

When adding or editing a dashboard, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a dashboard.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the dashboard. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Name (Required)

A name for the dashboard. It is advisable to keep this unique.

Screen/Form (Required)

A dropdown list of screens/forms.

Active

A checkbox to activate/deactivate an entry. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop-down lists.

Composition

This is where the sequence is created which will show in the chosen dashboard. In this example, the first part is “Test ” followed by the patient’s date of birth in the form yyyy/MM/yy.
