Culture Workflows

The Culture Workflows preference is used to record a list of culture workflows in the system. These are found when creating a custom setup from the Laboratory > Setup screen and adding a culture. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list.

Location

The table of Culture Workflows will display the name, sample type, code, description, and status for the culture workflow.

Configuration

When adding or editing a culture workflow, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a culture workflow.

Name (Required)

A name for the culture workflow. It is advisable to keep this unique.

Type

A dropdown list of culture types.

Description

A description of the culture workflow.

Sample Type (Required)

A dropdown list of sample types.

Incubator

A dropdown list of incubators.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the culture workflow. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Media

A dropdown list of media.

Default No. Slides

A number field to set the default number of slides.

Table

A table where the desired sequence for the culture workflow can be defined.
