Bandings

Bandings are used to record a list of bandings in the system. The choice of values are selected using an autocomplete or dropdown list within the slide microscopy of a Lab Referral. There are 10 bandings which are set by the system and can not be deleted (although the names can be changed and they can be set as inactive if necessary). Further bandings can be added if needed, and these user-created bandings are able to be deleted.

Location

The table of Bandings will display the code, name, and status for the banding.

Configuration

When adding or editing a banding, users are presented with the below form to complete. Always press Save in the bottom right-hand corner of the browser after adding or editing a banding.

Code (Required, Unique)

A unique code for the banding. This can be the same as the name but must be unique throughout the entire system.

Name (Required)

A name for the preference. It is advisable to keep this unique.

Active

A checkbox to activate/deactivate an entry. If the preference is not active, it will not be selectable in any drop-down lists.
